A New Look...

Hello, Writers of booknet!

We have decided on a New Look for booknet Authors the UNOFFICIAL Writers Group Profile here on booknet. It has been brought to our attention that some readers and authors were under the impression that we were somehow officially connected to booknet and that is not true.

We are a group of unpaid, volunteer authors who in response to many of the authors who wished to have a Writer’s Community to talk about their books, ask questions or were in need of resources to improve, created a Facebook page @BooknetAuthors and a closed group THE WRITERS CLUB to create safe space where the authors of booknet can gather to talk and ask for help without EGO, or JUDGEMENT. 

So to avoid this confusion we have made it a clear statement by the change of color and wording to let you know that we are in no way affiliated with booknet other than we all write for them. The opinions, comments, likes and follows you may receive from our current Admin. Ruechari, or our Moderators: AnnaRCase, Emma Swan, HypGothic or Goodness Shadrach do not reflect the expressed opinions or preferences of booknet. 

What we do offer through our Facebook Page, The Writers Club and Profile here on booknet is information about news on what is happening on booknet, authors interviews, book reviews and how to's as far as writing and using the features booknet has to offer to promote a writer along with the occasional writing contest.

The Writers Club is a closed Facebook group where writers can connect on a more personal level, discuss books, plot ideas, how things are going, ups and downs of being a writer and have some fun. This group is designed for booknet authors only. So you need to ask to join (you can find THE WRITERS CLUB) under Groups on the Facebook page. You must be a booknet author with at least one book published to be able to join.

We offer to those writers that join our group the possibility to be interviewed in the AUTHOR SPOTLIGHT (authors picked randomly), a book reviewed THE BOOK NOOK (offered weekly), a short story or poem review BY THE BOOK (offered monthly). These are perks given to those who join our community of writers. We can not choose books or authors to be reviewed or interviewed that are not part of our community because it requires a participation level in the group that can only be achieved through being part of the club. 

We are not trying to exclude anyone, anyone who joins and participates in THE WRITERS CLUB as an equal opportunity to be chosen. So if you would like yourself or your books to be considered please come see us on Facebook @BooknetAuthors, like our Profile here on booknet, and ask to join THE WRITERS CLUB. We hope to see you there as we are looking forward to creating a strong, nonjudgemental space for all of us to use, to learn, and to grow as writers. Let’s support one another and make booknet a great writing community for our readers.
