Chapter 24 sneek peek

"Don’t you dare insult Trevor when he’s done nothing to you.” I glowered at him. 

“Oh really?! Hasn’t he?” His face was closer to mine now and I could feel that familiar tightening in my throat and dryness in my mouth. “How about the fact that he went after the girl that I can’t stop staring at.” He whispered enough for me to hear and I could see his brown eyes very clearly with how close our faces were.

We were both breathing very hard at this point. I could feel the coldness sundae sipping through my bones and my lips dry all of a sudden.

I could feel his breath on my cheek and I slid my tongue over my lips to wet them.

At my action, his eyes dropped down to my lips and they darkened a little bit. Was it just me or was it getting hot in here?
