To my readers and friends.
I don't know if you guys have seen the news or not but I want to tell you that my country is not the safest at the moment.
Some time last week, our youths had gone into protesting, hoping that the government will hear our voice and give us what we want: better governance, stop police brutality and end SARS.
But what we didn't expect was for them to turn war on us.
As I'm writing this now, in Lagos State, Nigeria, soldiers are killing the peaceful protesters. Can you believe that? Those who swore to protect us are killing us!
Nigerian youths are in danger and not from any other country but our government. Our government gave orders to kill us and at the moment, I can't count how many of my countrymen had lost their lives just today! Oh God!
To make it worse, there is a rumor now that the government are planning to cut internet in Nigeria. Reason is so that they can stop the news from circulating round the globe. They don't want UN to get involve and that's why they are now killing us, to shut us up.
Can you imagine? Government giving orders to kill their own citizens!
Oh Lord, please save us from this massacre that has been bestowed on us by our own leaders, our own protectors!
My reason of making this blog post is to alert you guys, should in case I went on for days longer than necessary without making an update, just know that two things are involve:
1. It's either the government succeeded in shutting down internet or,
2. That I have been killed.
I am not praying for any but I will just like to let you know before hand.
Thank you all so much and please, remember my country Nigeria in your prayers and let my countrymen be saved.
