What I wasn't expecting next was when he pulled my bag and threw it to me as if I wasn't supposed to hold him back from taking the seat. My mouth was left open after that because for the first time someone took courage and had a seat beside me.
"Are you sure this seat is taken?" He asked again now getting all sarcastic.
"Cause it seems like nobody has been here for a while." He said mocking me.
When I was able to bring back my senses, I rolled my eyes and instead focused on writing.
"Suit yourself then," I whispered just enough for him to hear my words.

Aiden was smiling at me after and I returned one for him too.
For the first time, I felt happy to save someone who's in despair and even though I have a special ability, it was useful to help others.
When we were about to get out from the rooftop, I didn't miss a glance of someone looking straight to my soul. Unfortunately, I didn't have the power to read his mind, but I tried my best to ignore his presence like what he did to me in the cafeteria a while ago.
