"I am here for my wife. I heard from a little birdie that she is here." He voiced out looking sternly at Adonis who didn't fail to look at him the same way.

"Your wife?. I didn't know we house people's wives here."  Adonis said, laughing at his own joke whiles Nikolai's expression remained stern.

"Just go straight to the point mister! What do you want here? I thought you vowed not to step foot here!" He shouted over his voice forgetting for a moment who he was talking to.

"I am willing to break that vow when something of mine is here. Now give me my wife."  The study was erupting with noise filled with their angry voices. This caused some of Adonis's members to rush to the study to see what all the commotion was about.

"Who is your wife? I don't know what you are talking about?"

"What is going on here?"  Luca asked, being the only brave one who opened the door.

"Her!"  Nikolai exclaimed, pointing to the entrance of the study where Luca stood with Athena standing behind him. She was trying to find out what was happening but could not see through since Luca's huge body was blocking her view.

"Luca?" Adonis asked, his eyes following Nikolai's pointed finger.

"No, damn it. The one behind him."

Luca swiftly moved, making all pairs of eyes fall on Athena, who was frozen to where she stood when she locked eyes with Nikolai.

"S-she is your wife?"

"You! where is the ring? Where is your wedding band? You whore!" Nikolai was before her in a swift second, taking hold of her. His palm tightly held her wrist inflicting pain.

"Let me go, you devil. H-he is lying I am not his wife. Please help me!"
