Update, Chapter 19 of Seducing Her Inheritance

“You’ve adapted to work, I assume.” He asked with one eyebrow raised as they eat dinner.

She beamed at him. “Yep. I did well, didn’t I? I actually survived. To think I almost quit. It felt like months, when it’s been weeks only. It’s tiring, but now, there’s a feeling of accomplishment as well.”

Her expressions were comical. Well, she’s back to being positively talkative. He does like it better than seeing her with a fixed frown and hearing a lot of complaints.

“Seems like you learned something. That’s good.” Actually, he’s having mixed feelings. Why does it feel like he’s raising this kid? He kind of feels proud that she’s finally doing something with her life, and no longer lazing around at home, wasting money left and right.
