Update, Chapter 33 of Seducing Her Inheritance

Here's a bit of snippet from Chapter 33 - Insistence of SEDUCING HER INHERITANCE.

"...I’m going on a date.”

Mel lifted her chin and stared him down.

Seeing her like that gave him a very unpleasant feeling. “Have you forgotten what happened last time? You came home with your tail between your legs.”

She swiped her arm in front of her, as if warding off something. “I haven’t forgotten. I remember it clearly, which is why I wouldn’t go anywhere private with him. Be it a hotel or his place. We’ll just go out for dinner, maybe go clubbing. And then, I’ll come back here. I’ll prioritize my safety this time. I’ll make sure there are people around wherever we go. If there’s no one, I’ll quickly run.”

Klyde simply looked at her with a disbelieving expression on his face. He couldn’t say anything, though. He knew how stubborn she is. Even if he argues now, she would simply argue back. It wouldn’t end with her backing down. Still, he’s annoyed that she still wants to date other people.
