Updates to Werewolf's Bane

Hello!

A week has passed since I decided to enter the Bound by the Moon contest with Werewolf's Bane. I've done a few significant updates but didn't want to write a 'formal' message to the boards until it was somewhat coherent. I sometimes have no idea where the story will go, but I think it's shaping up nicely.

As I read some of the werewolf lore, I came across a few Gaelic legends, and I thought I'd lean that way in terms of the story, but I'm not sure now. I'll keep writing and see where the story goes. The names are taken from Gaelic words as best as I could google them, and their meanings are pretty literal. Madadh means wolf, a large dog, or canine. Etcetera, and so on.

I thought the work was a bit dry and word heavy. I mean, who am I kidding? It made me want to tear my eyes out and bang my head against the desk. It was a giant wall of text, much like this update - Sorry, well... not sorry.

The story took a considerable turn tonight, and I figured out who and what my dear Madadh is running from. Initially, I thought it was the Alpha, but it turns out it's something far worse, and she's the reason he's even there in the first place. 

I also started tweaking Madadh's backstory adding in some humor. I love to laugh, but you'd never know it from what I have written. Other times, I can be a bit ridiculous.

*Spoiler Alert*

Apparently, the devil has a brother named Stan.

Yeah. Who knew? And Madadh is already wondering how she wants him to die.

That sure escalated quickly, eh?

I've always been a sucker for good versus evil stories. I imagine the werewolves will be a key player in whatever Madadh is cooking up. 

I'll leave it at that, I'd like to hear what you think of the characters and whether you are intrigued by the direction, it's taking. I know I sure am.
