As much as she wants to immediately continue their conversation, her body was hijacked by desire. He smirked at her as he approached. And then, he backed her towards the bed. His touches made her shiver and her core aching.

He remained gentle with her and Mel had to actually make requests for him to be rougher. A while later, she was panting by his side. Took them a while more to recover and he actually agreed for them to talk more instead of moving on to round two. She was a little surprised. Also, it’s a little awkward when they’re both naked under the covers.

The thing is, she realized now how silly the question was.

“Wasn’t it fairly easy to distinguish, though?” She began.

“Distinguish what?”

“Didn’t you ask earlier, how do you know if you only like someone or you already love them? I doubt you don’t know have an answer to that.” She brainstormed so much earlier, just to come to this realization. What a bummer.
