“I’ll be away on a business trip. If you still don’t feel well, you should go to a hospital.”

Mel simply grunted at his reminder. It’s good that he won’t be home for a few days. She could probably think of something by then. He left early and she also got up from bed. She stared at her haggard reflection for half an hour before taking a shower. She feels lazier than ever. She doesn’t feel like going to work but she wants to get out of this house. She left mid-morning in her own car.

Ugh. Why is it that upon learning she’s pregnant she seemed to link her actions to it? Craving food she hasn’t tasted for a while is normal for her, so she hadn’t had a clue this way. As for being tired, wasn’t that because of work and Klyde’s demands? She groaned as she walked inside a restaurant. This one is high-end. It’s been a while since she came to one. They’ve opened just a few minutes ago. She decidedly occupied a table with a window.
