Update, Chapter 61 of Seducing Her Inheritance

She was at a loss. Did he just…? Her lip twitched in irritation.

“You think my friend would try something with you? What? That she might seduce you or something? Are you hearing yourself?” She’s annoyed. He doesn’t know anything about Lily and here he’s assuming her friend would be that kind of woman?

“You trust her that much? Can you be sure that she wouldn’t try anything funny?” He raised an eyebrow, seemingly confident that he’s not wrong.

Mel stared at him for five seconds before it turned into a glare. She got up from his lap and decidedly walked out.

“Where are you going? Mel?” Shit. When he saw her glare, he knew he said the wrong thing again. He could be conceited at times. He didn’t mean to imply anything about her friend, he was just asking a completely hypothetical situation. She seemed to have taken it seriously.
