He’s feeling conceited again, “You married one of the most eligible men. Of course, they would be jealous.”

Mel pursed her lips and didn’t say anything. Her expression wasn’t pleasant, though, and he felt a headache coming.

He sighed before hugging her. Thankfully, she didn’t shove him away.

“What do I care about what they think? They don’t matter. You’re the only one who matters.”

She pouted at his attempt to correct his statements.

“So, you’re going with me, right? I want to show you off.”

“How would you show me off? I only have a small café.” It’s really nothing compared to other people’s achievements. They have multi-million businesses. They have masters and doctorate degrees. They have businesses all over the place.

Klyde grabbed her hand and put it over his chest. “You’re the only woman who caught my heart.”

Her lip twitched. She could no longer take it. She openly laughed in his face. He’s more than glad to see it.
