The Secrets Hidden In The Scars: Chapter 24

Hiya, everyone! I'm here with a birthday update! Chapter 24 from my book "The Secrets Hidden In The Scars" is available on my accounts. The first part is here, the second part is here, and the third part is here. This chapter will be published in a new part, while the previous part has been marked as completed.

So, I managed to finish the work on this chapter right before my birthday, and I am so happy to publish it on December, 7th. In this chapter, I let myself become a little pervert and write something that I kind of madly love but feel a little embarrassed. Yes, it can't happen in real life, but... It's just a book! Anything may happen in the book! So... C'mon, my wild fantasy, show us what you can do! :D Oh, alright, I'd better leave to work on the new chapters. I'm too funny now...

Anyway, I would be madly happy if you liked this book, added it to your library and told me what you think of the storyline and the characters' actions. I hope you would't lose your interest for my book and would read it until the very end. My English is not perfect, but I'm doing my best to make my texts more or less readable.

Here's a little (slightly changed for this post) snippet from one of the parts, which will be published within a few days:

"Don't try to pretend to be good, Edward! You had us wrapped around a finger for almost six months. And you would've kept doing it if Raquelle and I hadn't decided to reveal your plans, and Natalia hadn't helped us to bring you to clear water. And I'm personally, madly grateful to her for saving us from such a nasty bastard. The poisoned cobra that was hiding among us and covering so well."

"Actually, on that day, I came here to tell you everything about Uncle Michael and his tricks."

"Oh, heck, what news!" Terrence throws crossly. "You did just realize you were pinned to the wall! There was no point in delaying it because your pal revealed you, confidently saying you had to do with this case."

"He is not my pal! It's one of the bastards that work for Uncle! I would strangle myself if I had friends like them."

"But I want to strangle myself because my family and I were betrayed so cruelly. You were silent about Uncle, and you either agreed with him or went against him because of jealousy and a wish to get everything I had earned."

"I did not agree with that bastard!" Edward says irritably. "I'm not going to kill you and the fuck kill! I don't need it! D-O N-O-T N-E-E-D I-T!"

"It's half of your sins. Let's not forget what Natalia experienced because of you, how you showered her with dirt, and what a nasty girl you wanted to make her. You did want to make her suffer and revenge for allegedly cheating on you. So much that you did really stupid things. For example, you made her tell everyone that everything was fine with your couple. It looked freaking stupid! Only an absolutely brainless idiot could come up with this idea!"

"Alright, let me try to get something into your head again and make it clear. As for my silence... I was silent because I was afraid to tell. And I refused to believe Uncle would really reach you, Raquelle, Mother, and Natalia. I thought Uncle bluffed and needed only Father. But I was wrong. And I wanted to tell you everything much earlier. Just wanted to choose a better moment."

"Ar-r-r, you're telling me your stupid tales again..." Terrence growls quietly, rolling his eyes.

"As for my relationship... Yes, I really asked Natalia to pretend for you. But I did it not to kick her and make her suffer much more. There were other reasons. Stupid, I'm gonna say, but I won't call them because it doesn't make sense."

"I don't care about it. I don't actually want to hear you trying to excuse yourself. And make me sure that you didn't play a good guy for a few months. First, you washed Natalia's brains, but then you persuaded her to help you get into our circle and began to wash our brains."

"My treatment toward you has always been totally true. I've never pretended that I loved someone but hated them deep inside and wanted to kill, rob, revenge, and do anything to destroy them."

"I don't know what about the others, but you have never treated me well. You were just pretending to be a loving brother, who kind of cared about me, wanted to know what was happening to me, and tried to support me."

"I'm gonna tell you more, Terrence..." Edward replies confidently, bravely looking at Terrence. "Despite nothing, you remain my close person. No matter how many slaps you give me... No matter how hard you beat me with legs and hands... At heart, I keep treating you much better than you think. Even if you decide to kill me or put me in prison for nothing, I will not forget you are my brother. A part of my family that I will always love."
