Good idea to mention feelings of the mothers, thank you! We know that Alice’s mother knows about a boy, who has broken her daughter’s heart, winning it first. At least she suspects that it was Dennis. :) So she must know that those two, from her husband’s story of meeting the boy, must have feelings. :) It’s easier for moms to share the news. I’m more worried about Alice’s father when he meets Den Richards again. ))
