Author, in this last chapter, when Beth told Christian to tell her more (that was when they woke up at night to discuss) and he told her that of all the people living in the world, he'd only met one person blocked from death, she was not shocked, Infact, it was as if she'd known earlier; and my question is: why was she not shocked? Did she know before then that Christian was immortal?

Okay. I think I'm beginning to understand this now. First of all, I think Beth's parents were somehow related to the bad people after Christian, and that is why they don't hunt Christian anytime he's with her. Secondly, I think Christian is not a human or a complete human. I mean he said that the bad people wanted to hunt "his humanity"... I stand to be corrected though.
Why would my Christian's hand, from the wrist, be chopped off??? No way author!!! I'm angry right now.
