Description of book "Kamali's Assistant (kamali: Book 1)"

If you're looking for a fun adventure where the good guys live happily ever after and the villains get what they deserve...go watch a Disney movie. This isn't that kind of story. This is my life and it sucks.
If you want to read about a guy from a small town who can see ghosts and winds up letting them ruin his life, you've come to the right place. Just don't say I didn't warn you.

On Saturday and Sunday I might not be able to participate in the discussion so I'll post a few thoughts now.
This is a wonderful story. Engaging from the first paragraph. It's well written and I like the dynamic between the dialogue and the narration. The descriptions are short and concise. Just what you need to know to picture what's happening. Ariel is an awesome underdog character, with an unusual problem. I really like how you portrayed Anne. I experienced the foster system so her character seems genuine. You gave a completely new spin to the terms "spirits" and "ghosts". Their portrayal is super cool, especially Simon's. I'll definitely continue reading the book because I want to know more about Lee.
I'd like to mention that there are a few dialogue lines that seem to start cut off, maybe they're intentional.
In conclusion, I highly recommend this story and congrats to the author.

wow. Lee is having a human moment.

AnnaRCase 16.05.2019, 04:38:09

Lee certainly has a way with words.

Jealousy? Or perhaps Duke is really like a demon or something....

Hum...This is interesting. Like teenaged, hotter Ghostbusters.
