So from what I understood he is treating her like that because his brother used to love her. So he is trying to destroy the person his brother loved.
And on the other hand she keeps telling herself to be strong and once he touches her she sleeps with him.
In conclusion he is a weak jerk who hits women and is not confident enough to make his wife loves him but he wants to break her. She is a weak person who gets hurt by her husband but at the end of the day she doesn't have a problem to sleep with him.
I just don't get how is she supposed to be a strong character.
Does he cheat on her too?

Dear author,
Of all the psychopath I have encountered while reading several stories, this man is the worst. Will there be a time in the course of the novel, that he will change his ways and feel remorse for his actions? My blood is boiling and I want to crush and trample him down. It's good I have not crossed once in my life a person of his character or else it would be a worst nightmare. As of now, he is my most hated character in the history of booklet. In my opinion, he does not deserve forgiveness nor redemption, he's a hopeless case. Poor Anissa! I hope she will be able to set herself free from the grasp of the devil, and don't she dare fall in love with him.
I really don't understand her. He keeps manhandleing her and treating her badly, and she accepts him to touch and sleep with her. From the description of her character she is supposed to be a strong character, but I don't understand how she accepts his touch, so she overcame her trauma for him because he is hitting her. I am really confused
