Kuhle, Thank you so much. As a writer myself, the heroine is one of my favorites ever written.
You have an interesting idea here--a woman caught in a love triangle between two men, one as a chosen mate, and the other as her choice. But I think you tipped your hand too early with Chapter 8, introducing a character that was not present in previous scenes, and then subsequently hinted in the next chapters. You've written in a few decoys to keep the reader guessing, but those details will be a problem to clean up as you progress. If you want to keep readers in the dark, my suggestion is to do a limited POV using Shira's character and eliminate chapter 8 together. If you want to keep the multi-POV of both main characters, you can continue Shark's POV, but with slight hints.
The easiest way is to openly let readers know Shark's identity through his own POV, while retaining Shira's ignorance through her own POV. The readers will feel they are holding an ace, and sympathize more with Shira.

Ginnie S Chua, Thank you so much for this comment. It's obvious this is really an honest review. The whole point if chapter 8 was to keep the readers a little bit doubtful. To believe the Shark is actually Farok, and then not be very sure about it.
Another thing I am trying to create is the impression that even though they may be one, they have two personalities. I want readers to look forward to meeting Farok also.
