Description of book "Ophiuchus"

After ending his mission on England, Ryan most leave the UK to go to a third-world country called Mexico, where he'll meet Lucy Fortnight, a girl whose love for answers will cost her more than she thinks. Both of them unravel the mysteries behind a mafia underneath the city of Morelia, the awakened Guardians, and, even more important, themselves.
The thing is, can they do it before time runs out?
And, what is the Organization planning next?, after all, Luke never supervises a mission personally.

"You don't want me anywhere near you, that's a promise!" I say.
"We'll see about that..." Is she crazy or what?!

The characters are very determined and the descriptions of the environment are precise.

Michelle Shelburn, You really don't know how much things like this mean to me!
I hope you continue loving it until the very end of the series, it's going to be somewhat large.

Tom Angry 09.12.2019, 00:35:25

will you update more frequently?

The last comment in the thread:

Tom Angry, The idea is to do so. The thing is, I got pretty behind schedule over the last three weeks, so I'm focusing on writing, and if I get ahead enough, I'll publish more often... But for now, every Sunday at 13hrs...
Sorry for the three-week-long hiatus

Well, I like how the story gets going into the meat of things with the suspense and build-up, but I don't like the exposition on the characters and their lives (though some things did need some explaining like the Caterpillar talk). I did like the relationship with Ryan and his comrades before he left for his mission, I wish we'd seen more of them before the main plot started instead of telling us for the most part. The second chapter did a better job at explaining things, though it did get in the way of the fight scene a little.

Lucy's parts, on the other hand, did have decent exposition and was paced well. It's nice we learned more about her before she'll eventually get entangled in the main plot. I also like her relationship with her cousin Dylan; it's wholesome, and not creepy.

I like the idea of the mafia story mixed with magical elements, and it's coming across as impressive so far. You've integrated the two story/characters well so far. I have some questions about the story (Like, what was up with the prologue and the organization, and how Ryan got in that mess in Chapter 1), but I'm sure they'll be answered in due time. I'm intrigued to see where this goes from here.

Alex Scrivenor, Honestly, I hope so too.

Ah, I've heard of CLAMP and how they do something similar. But, I haven't watched or read any of their work, except for Kobato, which I thought was fantastic ~

Maira Digt, Thanks a Lot! Really hope you guys stay with the story, because unlike DEVIL'S SOUL and HMOS (I'm abbreviating the tittle, too long), this one gets a little political... So yeah, please stick around, and enjoy the suspense :3
Good Luck!!!

only 2 chapters?:(

Krystal, Yeah... sorry about that, I publish a chapter every Sunday at 1pm central time, though I publish one chapter each week; the reason for that is that I'm just getting started on college, so I'm getting the hang of things, so please have me some patience...
Good Luck!!!
