Description of book "Spin"

Spin follows the story of Noah and Lilah, a young couple living a life on the run, committing crimes across the south in a post-second-civil-war America. Living in a broken society, Lilah empathizes with a man they pick up at a truck stop and convinces Noah to take him along on their way back to their hometown, Midnight, Mississippi. They soon discover the man is a war veteran with a penchant for telling bizarre, unbelievable stories. Being on the road gives them plenty of time to reflect on these strange tales and delve into their own pasts, remembering their childhood and the decisions that lead them where they are. But, when strange things start to occur and secrets start to be revealed, they realize too late that they've been lead into a web so tangled, they might not make it out.

This is really great so far. The plot is compelling and your descriptions of Lilah and Noah really make them come alive!

Captivating and fantastic start. Seems so realistic. Dont agree with armed robbery :) but I'm assuming some character development for the good is on the horizon.

Great stuff. Dialogues are really gripping. Noah looks to be an interesting character. One of the best reads I have found here.
