Welsh longbow maker and archer, Will Archer, also known as William Bowman, is late getting to the archery tournaments this year and has to return to old stamping grounds that he has mostly avoided for years. He sees an ancient bow that draws him into remembering a good deed he has long strived to forget. A romance following a single act of chivalry. Set in the English Midlands some 55 years after the Norman conquest.
