My Name is Gladys M. Scott. I am an avid reader and long time lover of writing. I have been a mistress and mother of Poetry, Novels and Short Stories. While I feel like I have been writing for the whole of my life, only within the last year have I found the confidence to start sharing my work with the public. I've never wanted to share much of my life simply becasue I have always wanted my work to speak for itself, allowing for no bias based on who I am as a person. I ask you to forgive me as I keep most of my personal details to myself, and let my work speak for itself. This endevor is dedicated to my brother, Jared. On New years day 2020 my brother took his life, leaving behind a scar that I didn't know how to heal. He reminded me that life is so short, that sometimes the demons are so loud, and that some things are just too heavy to carry anymore. A month after his death I created a blog, just to share a single short story I wrote in honor of my brothe...but the stories began pouring out of me...and I knew this was how I would silence my own demons, and heal the wound that my brothers death left on my soul.
