Fallen from the grace, humiliated and defamed was the grandson of the Seighdacier; stripped of all that once belonged to him and plunged into the world his feet once walked on. But from those ashes he will find his way. From the pain he’ll find the strength to resist, the knowledge to act, and the life he never knew as possible.

His is the task of solving the mystery behind the death of his grandfather to clear his name and that of his family. But for that, he'll have to walk among the lowest of society; learn their ways, their point of view, and know the reality of their world.
