Tony Spencer is married with 2 boys and 3 grandchildren. He spent over 40 years in the print industry, and retired in 2015. He has self-published 40+ books (most of the early ones were single story books) since 2012, and published his 19th novel in October 2021. For 2 years he edited a local online magazine "around Yateley" which averaged 80pp a month, and still issues occasional special edition. He also edits produces a 20pp colour printed programme (with a 44pp online version) for his local football (soccer to Americans) team. He has 20 novels/novellas available on Amazon, 2 collections of short stories and 2 local history books, 24 in total, all bar one also available in paperback. When he is not writing fiction or diverted by FaceBook, he is babysitting grandchildren, gardening, family history researching, writing weekly football report (with 21 years' experience under his belt for local newspapers), running the village hall bar, or serving as Yateley Town Mayor..
