Not exactly what I expected

As I get to the door I inhale a big breath before entering normally Indigo is seated but as I enter he is not anywhere in sight which is a good, I guess ??? I mean not that I care anyway...

-Maybe he left me alone for good- I whisper to myself with that idea in mind I head to my bedroom that is until I see a girl coming out of the bathroom located in the hallway
-Umm... who are you- she asks in an almost whisper voice 
-At this point I shouldn't be surprised- I say to more to myself than to her
-Indigo invited you here didn't he- I ask somewhat furious 
-Y-Yeah- she replies to me
-Do not worry I am nothing like him- I say to her before I head to the guest room.
-What do you mean by that- she says, if only she knew...

I walk into the room, everything surrounded by trash yet I have a perfectly good plan... and yes I have done this before.

-I am going to do something just act "normal" okay- I say to her mentally preparing myself for a little revenge...
-Oh umm okay- she says at last. She then proceeds to sit down on the chair located in the corner giving me the que to start with my acting skills 
-Why did you do this to me Indigo- I say raising my voice to wake him up since he ido not a heavy sleeper 
-Wha, what happened- he starts saying confused
-What do you mean what happened I should be the one asking that- I tell him as I start releasing my fake tears *This is going better than I thought*  
-Now don't make me look like the bad guy here cause I won't hesitate a second,I can ruin your reputation in a instant- he says as he stands up
-Let's go now Carolyn- he says, grabing her by her wrist 
-No, you are not leaving with her- I state
-Well then I guess this it, see you never Carolyn- he says leaving "Carolyn" here
-I rejected everyone for him and he just rejected me for everyone, how dare he- she says once she is seated in the couch.
-I will make a cup of tea for me, would you like some?- I ask as I stand up to get to sit next to her and hug her
-I'm sorry you had to hear that- I say to her few seconds later I let go of her 
-Take a quick nap, it will be a while before the tea will be ready- I tell her before I head to the kitchen
-Thanks- she whispers right before I can make it out of the living room. I smile because I know that deep down I did the right thing, even if that means dealing with Indigo later on...

~2 hours later~

This past hour has been stressful I have set the tea to cool down a bit while I try to get some stuff done yet I've had no luck doing so

I decide that I have had enough of sitting down here doing nothing. I head to the living room to see if Carolyn is now awake. As I get closer to the room I hear some whisper yelling. I am now at a corner and the words now make more sense. I know that I should not be eavesdropping but hearing a bit won't hurt anyone right?

-Yeah I know, I accept that it was all my fault and know that I am thankful you are hearing me out- she whispers 
-Thanks... no don't worry I'm with my pretty hero and away form him... okay yeah goodnight- she says after a while

I wait for a couple of seconds to make sure she has no clue I heard her conversation. I act normal as I enter the kitchen know well what I had done...

-Here is your cup of tea- I say to her 
-Thank you so much you don't know how much I appreciate it- she replies back 
-Your welcome, you can stay here as long as needed - I say to her with a smile 
-Yeah, about that I will like to stay here for a while I settle some things - she lets me know
- Don't worry about him I won't let him anywhere us - I say with a small smile
- I'm sorry I didn't know he had a partner - she says
- He's a jerk don't worry it's all an act no true feelings. It's  fine though, no hard feelings- I say to her
- Friends???- she suggest
- Friends- I reply back

I didn't know how bad I needed a hug until she wrapped her hands around my body, tears run down my cheeks as I hugged her back...

-Thank you for helping me, you know I have always believed that as women we need one another more than we need anyone else so if there is anything I can help you with I won't question it you just tell me and I will see what I can do for you- she says then proceeds to hand me a paper

-It's my number I will always be available for a needed one like you- she says making me blush from embarrassment.

-Thank you for everything, Carolyn - I say, she looks at me confused

-No that ain't my name it's Alyssa -she corrects me  
-That jerk, didn't even bother learning your name -I state angerly
-Yeah but I have to forget about him and you should do the same thing -she encourages me
-I hope I could but -I start saying but then she interrupts me
-Wait what did he mean when he said he can ruin your reputation in an instant -she asks me   
-Oh nothing serious he is that type of person who does not like to loose especially when he proposes something to himself -I explain to her 
-Man how did I end up with someone like him -she says more to herself than to me
-Don't worry you, we will eventually find much better people to h -I don't finish my sentence since she finishes it herself    
-Have as partners, oh my god you are so right, damn girl good thinking -she says before she takes a sip of her cup of tea, with that I let her be.
