After losing his entire family, Christopher Smith, a strange and solitary boy, begins to have terrible nightmares in which a disturbing and terrifying winged creature appears. Things start to become even stranger when one day he finds a mysterious young woman in the forest who, surprisingly, resembles the winged figure that haunts his dreams.

Everything surrounding the girl immediately fills him with intrigue and uncertainty, as she holds the answers to all his questions and the explanation for everything strange that has been happening to him since he was a child, because in reality… both of them have been bound by a terrible curse for over a century.

Hello dear readers,

I’m excited to share with you that this story is the English version of my book originally written in Spanish, La luz de Lamia. I’m working on this new version with the help of translators, so please bear with me as I navigate this process.

This is my very first attempt at bringing my story to an English-speaking audience, so I sincerely apologize in advance if some inconsistencies or awkward phrasings slip through.

To create this story, I did not draw from mythologies of demons, nor did I include information from famous religious texts. I want to make it clear that I do this with the utmost respect and without the intention of offending any religious interest. Everything is fiction and the creation of my very damaged mind. Everything is inspired by some of my wildest ideas.

I love these kinds of themes; they fascinate me deeply. I find the topic very interesting but also controversial, and I have a lot of respect for it. I warn you in advance that you need to have a very open and attentive mind ;) In every chapter, there are clues to the truth, and be careful with the twists, because remember—nothing is as it seems. ;)

This idea was born many years ago, and I’m thrilled to finally share a piece of my very strange and crazy imagination with you. ❤️🌹
