Hide Feelings: An Impossible Love

A quiet afternoon in Hell was nothing new, souls suffering and paying for their sins. However, on Earth, things were chaotic but peaceful. The two children had very different perspectives on the world, but both were happy with what they had. They weren't very old yet, six and seven, with Micah being only a year older than Natsky.

However, there was no possibility of them meeting, as they were from different worlds and species, and neither knew of the other's existence. But... fate decides.

It was a very calm and peaceful evening on Earth, where the children went out to play in the thundering rain with their parents, who joined them in their games.
"It's beautiful!" exclaimed Micah, looking out the window.

"They're raindrops, my love," Kira explained.

"Where do they come from?" "He asked curiously.

"From the clouds, or if you want something more magical, from the sky," Zeyn said.

"When can I go to the sky? I have wings!" Micah exclaimed.

"Soon, darling, soon," Kira said, looking at Zeyn.

"How about we play a game while we wait?" Zeyn tried to ease the tension.

"Yes! Snakes and Ladders!" Micah jumped excitedly.

The family sat down to play, but Kira was still worried about what Micah had asked. They both knew it was risky for Micah to even show his wings in public, as they didn't know what people would want to do with him. The possibilities were endless regarding what would happen if someone discovered Micah's secret, or even Zeyn's: that he was married and had a child with a human, breaking the first rule established by the Three Kingdoms.

While Kira and Zeyn were worried, Micah was simply enjoying the game as always. After all, he was still a child who knew what was happening, but not that it was a sin...

"Are you alright?" Micah asked, looking between them.

"Of course, my love, it's just that we're worried about something," Kira replied.

"Why?" Micah asked curiously.

"It's nothing you should worry about, dear," Zeyn said.

Night fell on Earth. It was a calm and quiet night. Both adults were already asleep in their room, oblivious to what was happening outside. However, Micah was still awake in his room, pacing, looking for something to do to entertain himself for a while, because sleep... he wasn't sleepy.
"There must be something around here," Micah said, searching for anything.
A book lying on the floor near the top bookshelf in his house caught his eye. He picked it up. He wasn't much of a book person, but he had plenty of options at the moment. He glanced at the title.

"The Forest of Ethendor," Micah read. "What an exotic name."

Curious about the book, Micah opened it and read its contents, or rather, what it was about. It didn't look like an ordinary book, like a fairy tale. Instead, it had maps with directions, names of places, and even notes in his father's handwriting. Micah ran his finger over the letters as if that would help him understand what they said. Little by little, he began to read each note his father had made.

I don't know what I'm doing. A human? This can't be happening, not even in my worst nightmares. This is what I get for being kind to people. I'll get out of here as soon as I can.

It's been a while since I arrived here. It's not as bad as I thought; so far, it's acceptable, enough to keep me here a while longer, until I get bored.

I think I'm in love, and yes, with a human. It's very different from what they taught us in X-13, too different. Maybe I can give this new life a chance.

Micah continued reading each and every one of the notes his father had written some time ago. They recounted almost everything Zeyn had thought before staying to rebuild his life with Kira, forming a close-knit family.
It was like a love story written on paper, handwritten, but it wasn't all sunshine and roses. In the last note, Micah discovered what he was...

My son was born. Although I'm happy, I know he'll be a monster, something that will spark a war between kingdoms. My wife and I will have to hide him if we want to keep him alive. An angel and a human... I knew this wouldn't end well.

Micah stood still after reading that. They had never told him. Now he knew why his parents were hiding him and wouldn't even let him go outside their own backyard... It was for his own good, it had always been for his own good. But being told was something that hurt him to the core. He didn't intend to hold a grudge because he knew how much his parents loved him, and he decided to keep what he discovered a secret.
