''Once upon a time, in one savannah from Africa, there existed a small, hidden kingdom inhabited by winged creatures. birds of all kinds, from flamingos and eagles to vultures, parrots, toucans, and even macaws.
This special place was designed as a sanctuary where feathered animals could grow, learn, and prepare for life beyond the kingdom. It featured schools and educational areas dedicated to helping them thrive. One of the most sacred elements of the kingdom was the trees. They were not only symbols of protection and peace but also served as homes and safe havens where feathers remained untouched and pristine. The trees represented unity. a peaceful bond shared by all winged beings. In this kingdom, wings were more than just a means of flight; they were a connection, a shared identity among its inhabitants.''
Intro: ''Thato, well known as the Monarch of Birds. Began a trip outside of the Kingdomfor peace with the Hawk cave, a very dangerous zone not recommended for any type ofbird. But he wanted to lookout for the kingdom for peace which didn't end well.
Thato wasn't alone, he came with most of its guards and defenders. Unfortunately, itwasn't enough. And the Death not only took Thato with him, but it also took his twostrongest wishes. One; Peace between feather creatures and.... The desire of the lastperson to see before death, be its last son, Abioye''
Chapter 1: ''Why Abioye? Was one of the bunches of question about him and most of his Family. Many people think that there was always something between that family that wasn't right, maybe it was Monarch's action or decision for the kingdom. Or just Abioye.
The day Abioye came to this world different; He was special in a different way. People aren't used to anomalies. Because of? Because it's not normal. You probably don't see Reddish or Golden pheasant being born of Blue Royal. Maybe peace is not the only thing that doesn't work, genes sometimes don't too. Why why.. More questions without answers.
A bird of just a few months old; Abioye unexpectedly became the new Monarch of the Feather Kingdom. So many things were happening all at once: new roles, new responsibilities, and the weight of leadership. It would've been enough to overwhelm anyone. But for Abioye, it was different. These changes didn't break him, they transformed him. They opened his eyes and shifted his perspective forever.
Chapter 2: It affects what makes him bond with others. His flight is not something common that usually happens among this type of species, so at that time there was nothing else to do but blame himself. The trauma had taken away his ability to fly, as unlike the others, he always had someone by his side. This was Ime. He was a few months older than him and was hired since they were young to be friends and support each other. But the roles changed, and since Abioye became King, Ime began to develop jealousy and apathetic thoughts.
The change is real, and so is the injustice that overcame Abioye. This began to be repetitive, so much so that he didn't need to listen to what they were saying; he could already perceive it.
Voices... ''Have you seen those feathers? Thats not what I call royal blood''
'' Something about him... feels off. ''
"His wings are clipped- literally and figuratively."
"If he can't even fly, how can he rise?"
.....
An early morning with the sun shining
Abioye... focuses his glaze on the ground thinking with a wide unconfidently face
Ime... Approaches and hold from his shoulder ''Just ignore them... They're just jealous of not being in the Leaf Palace.''
Abioye... He takes his hand off her shoulder and turns towards the tree ''How could I not? You and I know they're whispering it. And they're right.'' turns to him again
Ime... ''Well, I know you well enough to know that Abioye would never let what others say affect him and he knows how to move forward.'' He brushes debris off his head with his grey feathers looking towards him in a supportive look
Abioye ... ''The Abioye of before no longer exists, and you should stop saying that. There's nothing left for me.''
Ime... ''Well, you have me, and you have this.'' points out referring to the kingdom down the tree
Abioye... '' "This" exclaim is not what I need '' He walks away looking for one of the guards to escort him to the top of the tree also known as the Leaf Palace.
.....
''Not much happened after that. Abioye headed back to take a break until he suddenly heard a noise that caught his attention enough to take a look. It was a new race, which Abioye once again had to attend afterward to give the King's approval. He didn't feel comfortable when these kinds of topics were discussed, for
some reason involving feathers. It didn't take long for them to call him for approval, and the next thing he did was set off on his way.''
Chapter 3: "You and I can feel it." That's what he thought the second he arrived. All eyes were on him. It didn't take long for them to start murmuring.
Abioye... '' And here I am. Let's make this quick.'' He sighs as he walks towards the log where the meeting was held.
[Racer captain] Rudo... '' And what are you going to do next? Spread your wings and run away like always?'' He said while making fun Infront of the others
Giggles and giggles.
Abioye... ''Excuse me, say again?'' confused, he begins to judge with his eyes
[Racer captain] Rudo... ''Do you want me to repeat it? Sure, but just make sure to don't fly away this time'' with a mocking tone
Giggles and giggles. But this time there was that tense air.
Abioye... ''Excuse me, but why are you saying this in front of the King?'' Speechless looking around for answers
[Racer] Rethabelle... begins to spread its feathers ''Okay, now bring the ACTUALL king-''
Laughters and Giggles along the way. Which gave him no choice but to run away.
