Shit, keep smiling (tú solo sonríe)

English part

She was with a bitter face, something had happened. I went over to hug her immediately, I couldn't bear to see her like that, I felt like my soul was breaking from her.

-Are you OK? - I said worried

- Yes... I just want to go home, I'm a little tired- she replied with a slight smile

I knew that she was not well, but she still tried hard to hide it, I don't know when she will understand that she doesn't need to do that.

- Shall I take you to the residence? - I asked for

-No, it is not necessary. I have money for a taxi - She said with a kind and somewhat hasty tone

-I'm not going to let you go home alone, come – I said gently pulling her arm to guide her to my car, she did not resist.

Already in the vehicle shortly after starting the engine she put on music, it was clear that she did not want to give me explanations and I would not ask her either. The trip was short since the party was close to the building we were going to. Upon arrival she said goodbye kindly and went through the doors of the residence. I was already on my way to my apartment when I noticed that she had left her wallet on the passenger seat. Okay something had definitely happened to her since she wasn't a very forgetful person. I decided to go back to give it to her, surely her phone was there inside, or maybe something important, what do the girls have in her bags?

Upon arrival I parked my car nearby and entered that building, took the elevator up to the third floor and knocked on her door. I heard a thud coming from the room, hopefully it's not hit, after a couple of seconds I saw the door open. She had her makeup smeared, there were dark circles under her beautiful brown eyes and she was dressed in pajamas. She was definitely crying. She even with red eyes she looked damn beautiful, how can someone be that beautiful and not even realize it? Seeing me, it took her a few seconds to react.

-You've left your…-she Not even let me finish the sentence when she abruptly grabbed her bag and closed the door, I could even hear that she locked it.

This was serious, without a doubt she was feeling bad and I had no idea what to do, but I couldn't sit idly by while she was this bad, no, Ihad to do something. I took out my phone and called Paula, her best friend; She must know something or at least tell me what to do.

-Hello? It's me Ethan, hey Pau, she's very bad - I asked quickly

-How was she dressed? Did he have pajamas on? - She said

-Yes, and she was wearing stockings too –

-What color? –

- Yellow –

- With black specks? –

-Yeah -

- Damn you have to get in there now! – She said almost screaming.

-How?, she closed the door in my face. –

- You just get in somehow now! –

She cut the call and I knocked on the door with my knuckles, I didn't get an answer so I knocked again, but without any success. I didn't want to do this, but I had no choice, I took the pick out of my pants and began to force the lock, I heard a slight "click" and the door opened. What I saw I did not like at all. I saw her, even though her back was turned I knew that she was crying and she was also holding a kitchen knife, one of those to cut the meat. She didn't realize that I had walked in and she was bringing the knife to her throat.

I ran to her and quickly pulled the knife out and slid it across the floor away from here. she screamed because she had such a scare. I hugged her, she tried to get away. We struggled a bit but then she realized that it was me who was hugging her, she sure mistook me for someone else and that part terrified me. She stayed still and after a moment she hugged me back and she began to cry, it was a very bitter cry, as if she hadn't cried in her entire life and now she was taking it all out. It broke my heart to see her see her like that, she didn't deserve to suffer. I promise I'll give what they deserve to whoever did this to my poor angel. It must have been a lot for her to want to end it all this way.

We stayed like that, hugging until she calmed down, I didn't care how much time I had to spend like this or how many times I had to do something for her, I would do it without hesitation as long as she was okay. I led her to the kitchen and sat her on the kitchen counter, then found a glass and filled it with water, handed it to her and grabbed a blanket that was lying nearby on the living room sofa. I put the blanket around her shoulders. I grabbed some tissues and dried her tears. My beautiful angel looked at me puzzled.

- Why… why are you doing this? – She asked after sniffling.

-Why would not? I would do this and more, everything, absolutely everything necessary for my beautiful angel to smile and feel good - I said, watching her cheeks turn pink.
