The Secrets Hidden In The Scars: Chapter 34

Hiya, everyone! Today is January, 31st. So, in order to say goodbye to the first month of 2023, I've just added Chapter 34 to my book "The Secrets Hidden In The Scars". It will be published by little parts, but when the last one is available, I will unite them in one part.

As I’ve said before, this chapter is one of my favorites. The answer to the question about why would be found if you checked it out (I won’t leave spoilers, no). I apologize if this part is a little overlong, and many things are repeated for the hundredth time. I will try to get rid of everything when I start working on the shortened edition of this book. But it’s going to happen not very soon. I still need to publish 9 more chapters. Though, I’m doing my best to end this book as soon as possible because I can’t really wait to start working on the next one.

Anyway, I'd be madly happy if you liked this book, added it to your library and told me what you think of the storyline and the characters' actions. I hope you would't lose your interest for my book and would read it until the very end. My English is not perfect, but I'm doing my best to make my texts more or less readable.

To get a mood for reading, play the song Camila - Coleccionista De Canciones, the lyrics of which were used for the orginal title of the character. By the way, this is the first of two songs in Spanish that became the so-called soundtrack of this book.

“Erm, are you okay?” Edward asks hesitantly.

“Yup…” Natalia pronounces in a low voice, looking at her boots and the water in a small lake. “Okay…”

“Oh…” Edward exhales sharply, feeling that his heart is squeezing painfully. “Listen, Natalia, don’t get hurt, please. I didn’t really wanna hurt you and ain’t gonna do. If something is not right, say it, If you want to talk about something, I’ll listen to you. If you… Think we could…”

“Nope…” Natalia swallows up nervously, deciding to lie to Edward and hide her real feelings. “It’s okay. It’s okay… You’re right…”

“Really okay?”

“Really,” Natalia barely pronounces and tucks a strand of hair behind her ear, still looking at her foot. “I completely agree with you… And… I believe we could hardly fix something…”

“I believe we concluded a mutual agreement?”

“We gave each other too much pain,” Natalia replies in a lower voice. “Too much to… Forgive each other easily… I can’t… Can’t forget everything you told me. Maybe, I will forgive you, but I’ll never forget… The pain you gave me is too strong…”

“Sure, I get it…”

“So, sorry, Edward…” Natalia moves her sad gaze to Edward. “But it’s the end… It’s all over… As you don’t mind, I will not hold you… It’s our final goodbye…”
