Oh so asshole Dane get a happy ending? He doesn't deserve that. I like the story, the sarcasm in dialogue is top notch, but you need to improve the snu snu part, it is a little bit rushed and you didn't give time to reader to go deep in the snu snu moment. And some parts still uncovered, what about the light during the fight? And the brother in law of Theodora who seem suspect?
Vielle Nye, Ok I understand for the light and Nash. The snusnu is the spice dear at part if your audience is under 18. But if you have growth ass audience the snusnu is the cherry on the top, I will wait for your paid book and your improvement because you have some talent.
I didn't want them to have a happy ending. I wanted asshole Dane to suffer a life of regret. I'm being petty but I wanted him to really pay for what he did to her. And why was the white light never answered? What was it?
Well, Dane got a happy ending—after months of stress—because he was supposed to be a stand in for the typical alpha in the story. Although he was a complete jerk throughout, his actions weren’t motivated by malice, but rather a sort of rigid lack of ability to deal with a complicated situation.
As for the light, there wasn’t a good way to explain it other than to have a random expert parachute in since neither of the mcs had a decent motive to pursue it. When I first wrote this, I was surprised that people didn’t just assume it was the moon goddess. I do plan to eventually address it in Sam’s book, but that’s not written yet.
