The son was getting low on the horizon. Laughing the boys were in animated conversation about their run while they hydrated. They switched from water bottles and began to pound back protein bars.
Like most locals they both put their garbage into their bags. Trash was mostly a disease brought in from the bigger towns.
Jay stood this time, "Let's go toobin the EAC!", the quote drew a woop from Mikey "Righteous!". It was the last word he would ever speak to Jay.
They checked their kit and headed to the surf. This time with an enthusiastic woop from both of them they dove into the Rip.
