Living in Vermont must be wonderful, right? The fresh air, the beautiful landscapes, and the divine cappuccinos; well, that peace vanished when one of America's worst tragedies occurred, the 2009 Massacre, or the 9/9/2009 Incident, a night when hundreds of people disappeared without a trace, forever scarring the United States. In this state, with its fractured community, lives Daniel Brown, a young man who lived through it all and has now lost his best friend, Isabel Taylor. But he won't rest until he finds her, even if it means delving into the most macabre stories of his home and himself within the Stowe Forest.
