Take Me, Melinoe Update (chapter 25)

Excerpt from Chapter 25:

Third person point of view~

"Impii inferos, accipere me!!!" she repeatedly commanded the underworld to take her, and the wind started to blow hard.

"Melinoe! What are you doing?!" George shouted but can't be able to go close to her because of the strong revolving energy around her.

He had saved her at the hotel by showing up as a giant bat. He was the one who killed Anna and the two tribeswomen. Now, he knew what Melinoe wants to do but he's absolutely against that decision.

"Stop it! You'll be punished by them!"

A whirl of fire surrounded her and she eventually got eaten by it in just a matter of seconds. He immediately followed her.

She descended in front of her father's throne which alerted everyone in the whole kingdom because they are able to feel the presence of a superior or royal demon and each of them has a different energy. She kneeled and bent down her head. 

The underworld is dark. No one experiences light there aside from the light of fire surrounding the palace. At the back of the kingdom, there lies the hell of suffering, a lake of fire where the soul of the sinners will be thrown when judgement of the living world happens. The lake of fire is still empty because the end of the human world is not yet happening. The underworld is just full of deadly creatures and demons which were all fallen angels thousands and thousands of years ago.

The king, the queen, and the prince are sitting on their thrones.

"Vide quid habemus hic." (Look what we have here.) his younger brother Doyrue said as he sees his sister. 

George quietly alight on the palace and transformed himself into a black owl, perched in an edifice to hide from the king and queen and observe what will going to happen to the princess.

King Mauvaino, looks young but already more than ten thousand years old, gave his daughter a direful glare. He's old and is already lacking of powers but his remaining capabilities are still stronger than any other demon. He lifted her using telekinesis and clenched her breath to stop. She will certainly die if her father makes this longer. 

"Prohibere!" Queen Neria shouted to stop what he's doing.

As he extricated his hold, Melinoe dropped on the ground and chased her breath. She quickly kneeled up and faintly speak.

"Father... I returned to bring back my loyalty to you. I am now willing to marry Thalyso and be your successor. To prove these, I will do it now if you give your assent."
