Finding Motivation to Write
Dear Me,
A year ago I made a promise to myself.
I vowed to write every day, and make my dreams come true.
I said I won't just sit around anymore, dreaming about it. I said I'm gonna make it happen.
I'm here to remind myself, the year is up. Another birthday has passed.
And again, I trampled my greatest desire. Why? ... I don't even have an excuse this time.
So I'm gonna sit my ass down, and write those damn stories. Only I can tell my tales, nobody else can.
I won't shut down my muse because I'm afraid of criticism. Self-doubt won't get me closer to achieving my goals.
Some people will like them and some won't. That's a universal truth. I accept it.
This time, I won't give up. I really won't. I promise!
"Patience, persistence, and perspiration make an unforgettable combination for success."~ Napoleon Hill
Love, Roza
PS. How do you guys motivate yourselves? Any tips for beginners?

Log inI remember when I made that promise to myself, it felt like I was setting myself up for unnecessary failure but the truth is without practice you can't get better. That's why athlete's do it. I am a writing athlete but instead of the oh so coveted chapter a day. I've motivated myself enough to churn out at least 1 book a month and that seems to be working thus far. Serving as a great foundation for a way forward ... but that's just me
Londa Cele, Thank you for your encouragement.
It helps to keep positive.
