Well, hello there!
So...I did some more revisions, but I suspect it still needs a brutal eye. If a sentence, paragraph or chapter isn't working. It's getting the axe. Chapter Twenty-Eight may very well be a Chapter that gets the axe. It's clunky and boring as heck.

June Estee, Thanks for your comment! Sorry, I'm so tardy in getting back to you. I really enjoyed what I read of yours, so hopefully, you can kick those blocks to the side, or give them a little nudge and squeak through it!

There is a good Russian proverb, that says: "Measure seven times, cut once". ))
Better to think over several times before deleting, not to ax too much. :)
