*important announcement*

Dear fellow readers,

It has been a while since I have updated a story of mine. Just wanted to put out that I haven't forgotten about my stories and I haven't forgotten about you all. I thank each and every one of you because, without you, I wouldn't have gotten this far. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you. Recently, times have been difficult, school-wise, as I am nearing the end of my school year and my time in a Secondary school (High school), meaning that recently, I didn't really have a lot of time to write. I would try to fit in writing whenever and wherever I could.

Now, going on to the real reason as to why I am writing this post. Briella's Crush. First of all, I want to thank you all for reading 'Briella's Crush', this was my very first attempt at making a book like this, where there is quite a bit of humour spread throughout the storyline of a book. I am glad it has been taken positively. I feel so blessed when I see readers praise my book, it really puts a big smile on my face. But, I have also seen places for improvement - personally, this is very normal, I always think in everything we do, there is always space for improvements! And what I have identified is that the storyline is getting quite lengthy. So, what I planned on doing was to take the whole story back to the planning board and try to cut out the unnecessary bits that contribute to the lengthiness of the story. But while I was doing this, I found something brand new.

This will not be a substitute for 'Briella's Crush', I plan on keeping 'Briella's Crush' one, whole separate project - this will all make sense in one moment. What I want to announce is that I'm working on a brand new story called 'Until July'. The story will have *roots* (if I can call them roots) from 'Briella's Crush'. As in, those who have read 'Briella's Crush' will recognise some of the names. For this book, I have cut down on the number of characters, as you will see upon the release of this new story. This is mainly because I don't want to have some of the relationships that I have developed in 'Briella's Crush' in both 'Until July' and 'Briella's Crush' since I feel like this will make it seem as if the two stories are practically duplicates of each other. And I feel like this will make the reading experience rather boring for a reader because of the repetition this may cause. Don't worry, my fellow readers, I put a lot of thought into this because I know this will sound infuriating to some, and I completely understand that. The ending that I had in plan for 'Briella's Crush' will be featured in 'Until July', but of course, it will be manipulated in a way so it will suit the storyline of 'Until July'.

I will try to make as much difference between 'Until July' and 'Briella's Crush' as I can. The reason why I didn't want to replace 'Until July' with 'Briella's Crush' is because there are some moments in 'Briella's Crush' that I wasn't able to fit into 'Until July', and I feel like these certain parts need their own justice. And their justice is to not be deleted and to stay in 'Briella's Crush'!

I am so sorry for writing so much, but I feel like these were some pointers that had to be said before I begin to publish chapters for 'Until July'.

And 'Until July' will, in my opinion at least, be unlike anything you have read in 'Briella's Crush'. As similar as these two stories may sound alike - because they practically derived from that one romantic-comedy - they are both quite different to each other.

I hope you will enjoy my new story when it comes out! And I will be working hard on the rewrite of 'Briella's Crush'.

Much love and once again, thank you!

Yours truly and forever,

Strale.
