“Benjie!” Cristiano yelled for his assistant again and Emma whimpered trying to free her wrist.
“Mr Lucca," Benjie approached,
“What the hell is she? Check for anything stolen. And, get her fu*king locked up. I got no time for this right now!" Cristiano pushed forward Emma who was mortified now.
“I am afraid but I can’t do that to her, Mr Lucca. That would be inappropriate.”
“Excuse me!”
“She is Mrs Lucca. Your bride from yesterday,”
The day Cristiano's fiancé bailed out, Emma was made to stand like a prop. A wedding Cristiano would never accept and now she has to play it all. His secretary in front of the world, his mistress in his bed and his wife in front of his family that won’t listen to the word, Divorce.

Log inI really love this indifferent series. And I love author’s style of writing. One get completely absorbed in it.
Yet I feel it’s not completely without the story of Ava. I guess personally her story can be challenging. We know so far she’s a carbon copy of her dad Matteo. But perhaps she inherited chastity from her mother. And she will need a man who is not only patient but caring and a gentleman. So a woman like Matteo but chaste! And a man who is doing all manly and patient and all. A rare gem!Will definitely be a good story. Even if challenging ?

This is a beautiful story. I like this a lot. This author writes the most unusual plot. I didn’t like Cristiano at first but his character developed really well.
My take on this book it's not worth the $3.29 , I regret purchasing it. It started off good but very confusing and alot is not explained properly at all. I've read better books and paid way less. Disappointing.

Cristiano de Lucca the ultimate definition of attraction, handsomeness, rich and a obsessive person. There is nothing more important in his life than money. He thinks he loves Camilla as much as his money but in reality she is only his amusement in his all more than sufficient life,where it keeps his monotonous life into a adventure by the stans Camilla pulls. At least it is what he thinks. What will happen when a simple, plain girl named Emma will be tied up with him into the most sacred bond, who has a horrible past but utterly grateful and loyal towards Cristiano for being her life savoir. Those are the things which makes me thirsty for this story...

the De Luccas are back and thriving. What an epic journey. Loved Cris's and Emma's dynamics. Matteo, o Matteo he's lovable and hateful as always. And Julie is great. I remembered what Matteo told at the end of the second book.: that their children will be invincible while growing up with the love of their mother. And Cris proved it. Even though I felt some heavy Matteo vibes oozing from him and the beginning he was able to recognise and fight for his Love. Against all odds. And who would have thought that Matteo would choose a woman for his son just as his dad did. Well I'm eager to know if Ava has her own story. It would be epic! Well done Author.
Oh Matteo! I think he will never change, his insensitivity, his ways, the way he treats people makes him unique and different from everyone, and.....I love hate him forever.

Thank you author for this beautiful story, great love story but if you ask me who loved who the most? emma Or Chris? then I would say Cristiano, the way his character has grown and how he stood with emma, for emma against not only camilla but also against his family his dad and even his mom, his emotions made me cry when he thought he lost emma, loved it.
I am unable understand Emma's stance. From the last few chapters, she clearly left due to her past and she doesn't want to be a burden on Chris. In one of the previous chapters, where she left Chris and Aryan caught him, it was due to the reason, Emma feels that Chris still loves camilla and she can never a part of his life and he is looking after her only due to their child. How come all of sudden, she has forgotten camillas chapter? I maybe missing some parts in the middle though

Ava is attitude with poise!!! Hehehhe characteristic of her mom and dad attitude-.. im glad that cris is far way better of all them.. i like hime a lot
So, that's the end of yet another epic saga. Emma and Cristiano had an amazing journey with a lot of flaws. But which couple does not have flaws? Cristiano had a great character development and he did have a soft heart inside tough body. Matteo will always be matteo no matters what. Juile is always that anchor of the family who will do her best to keep the family together. The glimpses of Ava shows she has attitude but I can see her caring side as well. Emma, I don't know what to say. The poor girl had been through a lot since very young age and had a very unfortunate adolescence, however she got the love of her life and not only that, she changed cris immensely with her intelligence, honesty and patience. Overall action packed drama. Apart from one or two sequences, I was mostly satisfied. @ ash I think this is your best work after shattered. Last but not least, Where is Benjie and why him and his daughter in law was introduced when it had no relevance to the story? Vandy and questions can't be separated, to ek last question to banta hai :)
beautiful story. i like the dynamics of Matteo characteristics in Christiano at those rare times and yeah not to forget, we get to see the glimpse of Matteo and Julie in this book which i absolutely love it. and i really want to see Ava's story now. like she is will be a whole different female lead as she carry that arrogance, intelligence, fame, power and money. i know the book just completed but i just love this de luccas family.
