August and Ellie Jones related? (tears For August)

Some of you might be confused why August has to watch over Ellie Jones at the fifth chapter of Tears For August (To be Acquainted With Another Soul)

WARNING: If you haven't read the fifth chapter of Tears For August then it might confuse you more if you read this first.

On the current chapters of Tears For August, it was clear that August's famliy was not yet introduced and so as Ellie's. However, there was a hint that both characters may be related due to how close they where. Especially at the part when August used to watch after her right after she get drunk. At the time when Agnes was just about to knock at Ellie's how to invite her to eat breakfast with her, August had opened the door.

Just before I knocked at the Jones’ door, I got shocked when the door opened by itself.

And there was August, in his plain black wool sweater−standing right at the entrance door frame.

August had explained himself afterwards on why he was watching after Ellie Jones.

“I had to watch her over since Mr. and Mrs. Jones are gone out for their business trip.” He said.

But why does August have to be the one who would watch over Ellie when she's suffering a hangover after being drunk from a frat's party? They must've been together right?

wrong.

The chapter was later introduced a new character named Greg Finerty and he was introduced to be Ellie's college boyfriend (who was part of a fraternity)

August cleared his throat, “Greg meet Agnes Welsh−she was Ellie’s new neighbor. Agnes Welsh meet Greg Finerty, he was Ellie’s boyfriend.”

And now for the question, is August and Ellie Jones related? The answer is "There was 75% that they could be related. They could be related by being cousins, siblings, or step-siblings.

For more questions, feel free to comment at Tears For August and I'll be answering questions as much as I can.
