"I brought a plaid..." Chad ripped me out of my mind. "I thought that maybe you were cold, and I saw the blanket on the chair when I was taking the plates"
"Thank you, it is exactly what I need," I smiled.
I was wearing a light dress and he put the blanket on my shoulders. I sat down next to him.
"Come with me. It was really cold outside," I offered half of the blanket.
"Well, thank you," he laughed and moved almost closely to me.
We sat and looked at the fire.
"Your eyes reflect light so beautifully... You can watch it forever... You have very beautiful eyes..." whispered Chad.
"Thank you..." I was embarrassed to thank you.
He carefully put his hand on my knee and looked at me questioningly. I know, Chad wanted to make the first step, but did not want to seem rude...
Well, maybe this is really what I need? A new relationship?
