How to Edit Profile and Story

Hello Writers! 

Today we are going to talk about how to edit your writer's profile and story. Please Note that this feature is NOT avaliable on the Booknet app. You have to sign into the Booknet.com website.

1. HOW TO EDIT YOUR PROFILE:

• Press your Name tab. 

• Click "EDIT PROFILE" 

You can add your short writer's description here.

It is also recommended to add your social media account links as it will help you build a strong fan-base and it's a good tool for marketing and promotional purposes. 

This is also where you change your passwords. 

2. EDIT YOUR STORY: 

• Click on your "Name" tab
• Click on "MY STORIES" 

Tips for Adding your book. 

Book Cover: Make a good cover, it doesn't have to be amazing or you don't have to be a graphic designer for this. Canva is the best free cover making app that you can use both on your phone and website. It's easy to use. 

Description: write a catchy book description. It should be interesting enough that readers should be adding it to their libraries. Do not add to much unwanted boring information or give away the entire plot. 

Genres: Add the correct genre. Often adding the wrong genre can put off readers and they might stop reading the book. The most popular genre on Booknet is Romance, Contemporary Fiction and Erotica. 

Genre 1 is the genre your book revolves around. 

Genre 2 is a secondary genre, for example if your book is Romance but also has elements of Sci-Fi, then Sci fi would be your seconday genre. 

Quotes: Choose some quotes from your book, it can also be a dialoge between the characters. 

Mature Content: If your book contains explicit scenes of sexual nature or even extreme violence, make sure you tick the mature box before uploading the book. Also note, Mature books are only available for reading for signed in users.
