Science Fiction Work - I write that too.

One more quick update, so this bit of work is the one I started two freaking years ago. In its pages, I realized I couldn't string a sentence together. I needed to learn how to do that. I've learned a lot in that two years.

When sharing this piece of work I've gotten a lot of feedback from "This sounds like the Orville." I've never seen it, I don't have Amazon Prime. Or this is spot on the genre. I have thoughts about how I'd like this book to go down but at the time I didn't have the ability to do it justice. I'm still unsure. 

There is a significant bit of work to be done to the already 70K word novel I have. I won't be posting it here. It's my baby. I will finish it, and post that sucker on Kindle. It's the reason I wanted to become a better writer.

It made me go, "I need to hone my craft so I can write about warring alien species, so I can talk about android prejudice." Heck, we can't even respect fellow humans. Humanity also sucks as a species caring for their animals.

Can you imagine how we'll treat robots? What about the grey area of being in love with a robot? All these areas to explore. 

Anyhow here's my work. If I were to dare to dream what kind of a writer I'd like to be, it would be Ben Bova (rip, Grand Master of Sci-Fi) or George Lucas. In almost all of GL's movies, there is no swearing, no sex, just loveable characters and a fight against good and evil.
