(An excerpt from Chapter 13)

Melinoe's point of view~

I teleported in a corner of houses and started to walk like a normal witch villager to their streets. No need to wonder why they're active at night. Creatures and entities of the dark and evil are naturally night goers. 

I could hear their spells and their laughs coming from different areas. How terrible their laughs are? It sounds like you wanna punch the wall hard or rip off someone's head if you hear them. I could also hear fire bursts and human flesh being ripped off from its body. 

Witches can go to other places and disguise as a resident. Just like Krypta did at the Vargan tribe's place. They do it to find people to be offered to Satan. They'll chop the body parts of a human and offer important parts, like the brain or the heart, to their evil god, and then display other parts like pretty lanterns on streets.

"Nukka, our ritual is about to start. You'll head the offering." a witch man also wearing a black robe said this to me.

"I'll go ahead. I just--"

What would I say?

I felt the man looked at me puzzled.

"Need to pee." I said and quickly ran and hid myself to a corner in between houses.

What the fuck did I say? Do witches pee? I think so.. but what if they don't? What the fuck!

I heard the footsteps of witches going to their plaza. They even do bully each other while walking, certified creatures of the devil.
