“Are you sure you still want to do this Grayson? Its not too late to finish those divorce papers. You don’t have to keep subjecting yourself to her crocodile bullshit,” she said.

His jaw clenched, “I’ll do whatever it takes to destroy that bitch and her father. To make them both pay for my brother. Nothing they put me through will compare to what they did to him.”

Amber didn’t have the heart to argue with him. Grayson had already suffered a lot thanks to Courtney and Hugo. He’d been snatched, held at gunpoint, beaten, deprived of proper food and water for days. His father-in-law had probably told the kidnappers to make Grayson suffer before they killed him. Or had those special instructions come from Courtney? Rage filled Amber. Both the men she loved had been hurt because of the Van Tessins callous greed.

“Well, we'll be right here with you the whole way brother. You’re not in this alone,” said Leo.

“I know. And that makes me even more worried. Adds more stress that either of you will get hurt. And its not something that sits well with me. You know I hate that either of you are involved in this f******* up mess.”

Amber squeezed his shoulder, “That’s what family is for Grayson. Togetherness in f****** up shit. So you’d better get used to the idea. Cause Leo and I are here to stay.”

Leo grinned as he took another waffle off the grill, “For better or worse brother.”

“Till death do us part,” Amber added.
