Take Me, Melinoe Update (chapter 23 - Foul)

Excerpt from Chapter 23:

Melinoe's point of view~

A demon getting fed up and bored because of immortality? What a lame.

After the 2nd subject class dismissal, I slowly went to the café, ordered a cappuccino, and sits down at the corner seat near the window.

"Melinoe!" 

I turned my head to the girl who shouted my name. She ran to my table and sweats a lot. Her hair was embroiled and she looks chased by gangsters in the campus.

"Someone's looking for you!" 

She's Lauren, my blockmate and the top 3 in bachelor's academic rankings. This girl admires me really bad and she wanted to be my friend, I didn't refused her but she's always being shy whenever she talks to me. That's why she's also with another circle of friends.

"There she is!" Lauren pointed her forefinger to a girl approaching to my table.

What made Anna went here?

"You fucking demon! You can't take Chris with you!" she hysterically shouted while pointing her forefinger at me and all the students at the café stop doing their own stuff to observe what's happening.

I just maintained my calm stance on my seat. But who the fuck have told her that I am a demon?

When I read her mind, I found out that Rome is the one who told her that I am a demon. Zion told Rome about my real being when they kicked us out of Rabia's house. Fuck that angel!

I raised my left eyebrow at her. 

"You stay away from this bitch! You're all wondering why she's perfect? That's because she's not a human! This girl that you all admire is a demon!" she made all the students there alarmed and they all started to murmur gossips.
