Short Story - The Corner Chair

Hi dearest readers,

This is an early teaser of my new short story - The Corner Chair.

Rosie is a quiet student; always in her place. Some would say that she is very prim and proper. She always did what was expected of her. She never complained about anything in life and she lived by the philosophy of always do what is noble and right.

She did not do very dangerous things; she has always been very cautious. She did attend a few parties here and there. When she did attend a party; she would be the fly on the wall just observing her surroundings. She did not say much or socialize much; her best friend Leoné was the social butterfly out of the two. She would drag Rosie with her to social gatherings and keep her sociable for a while.

Rosie preferred the company of a book with a glass of wine. She would always wander off into her little world where she felt safe. She enjoyed the world of fiction; it gave her time to escape reality and just pretend for a little while that everything in her life was in perfect harmony and peace. She struggled a lot with her inner demons...
