Houston in September - 4 revised chapters up
Houston in September revisions
I've uploaded the latest greatest version of Houston in September. This after it had a developmental edit, and I've done a considerable amount of rewrites. It's currently back with the editor for a copy/line edit, and a second glance at developmental issues. I suspect there's still some in the later chapters, and the novel is still pretty slim, as it was during its first appearance in the contest.
I'm a chatty person by nature, I could talk the hind legs off a dang donkey, but I can't seem to write more than 30,000 words for this particular book, which throws it into a novella type of standing.
If I'm honest, this book has not been getting any love from me, though there are parts I adore about it. I love Strazzo's sassy way of looking at things, and his character arc and metamorphosis over time.
Curious to know what some of the other readers/authors would think, as I think I might be too close to the document. I feel like I know every letter and comma. I'd say intimately, but that sounds kinda creepy!
Let me know what you think, hit follow/subscribe/stalk, etc., and bring your friends. (Please, I beggeth of thee!) I'm still sitting around 46 followers and I am too scared to look at regular readers. Muahaha.
Cheers fellow writers/authors/readers
S.
