How is everyone holding up? 

So, I'm working on this new book, and I was just thinking of sharing some of the tropes you might expect in it.

This will be the first book of a series that takes place in a fantasy world. Think magic, dragons, elves, giants, mermaids, pirates, bandits, and many more fantasy races. In this series, Lord of the Rings meets Skyrim and Game of Thrones. There are holds at war, lots of politics, and a bigger threat that can, if not stopped, wipe out the entire human race. The only way of protecting themselves is for Man to become allies with the Elves - if it wasn't for the fact the two races despise each other with every fibre in their being. 

Within all that political chaos, there is a reluctant hero that possesses the ability to defeat the greater threat. If only she didn't run from her responsibilities and hide behind a secret identity. 

And now you ask, where does the romance come in? 

Not gonna spoil it yet, but here are some of the few romantic tropes you can expect: 

• Enemies to lovers
• Forbidden love
• Love triangle
• Soulmates
• Slow burn romance
• Lovers in denial
• Different worlds
• Forced proximity
• Healing the other's wounds
• Tall guy, shorter girl
• A secret that can end everything

• Reunion romance
