Thank You

Hello. This is finally the end of the road, and I certainly hope that you have enjoyed the ride. There was a time when I was genuinely concerned that I wouldn´t be able to finish this story on time. But I did! And I can only wish that you have liked the result just as much as it´s made me feel fulfilled.

Now, to those of you who have been walking this path beside me and reading all my previous work... You should know that, a year and a half ago, when I first started wondering if maybe it was worth the try to start pouring my soul into these writings, I was terribly depressed and quite drained after yet another fruitless round of treatment trying to conceive.

Somehow, channeling all this pain and frustration into my very first series: CRASHING AND BURNING, helped me heal, and before I knew it, I wasn´t even thinking about it that much anymore. By the time I started writing the first drafts of THE LAND BELOW OUR FEET, I felt better and more motivated than ever. And it was you as a reader who inspired me to finally put on paper an idea that I had been nursing for so many years and yet I hadn´t found the time or the will to even begin exploring in full!

You gave the courage to do this. And for that, I will never be able to thank you enough.

As I write this note, I am days away from giving birth to my son, and I´m ready to take some time off with my little family after this crazy introspective trip I´ve gone through. So, honestly, I couldn´t be happier!

I have also been going back and forth fixing typos, grammar and even some continuity errors I´ve found, which I absolutely despise. Yet I´m sure this one must still be plagued with mistakes... I guess that´s just how things are.

So, I´m going to take what little time I´ve got left to try and correct as much of it as I possibly can on this pregnancy brain. And who knows? Maybe one day I might even revisit these characters and explore their story lines once more. But for now, I believe that everything has been said and done, and that it is time we let Ussi and Souna enjoy their peace for a while. They deserve it.
