Klyde pursed his lips, “It’s good that you got a job, but do you have to come home drunk?”

She pouted while glaring at him, “Do you know how hard it was to get a job? I lost count how many applications I made. I’ve only been to a handful of interviews. They looked at me like I’m worthless. Their questions were tricky. I can’t even give simple answers without them assuming my character based from the words I said. Can’t they see I’m a simple person? I just wanted a job. Now that I have it, it must be celebrated! Hey, hey, aren’t you going to congratulate me? Won’t you give me a reward?”

His head began to ache from her tirade. You can never speak sense with someone under the influence of alcohol.

Grudgingly, he congratulated her. This appeased her greatly.
